Holland America Cruises - Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation fees for cruise will follow the schedule below and apply to all guests on the reservation. Cancellations must be communicated in writing through email to our Reservations Department. Depending on when the cruise is cancelled, cancellation charges will be assessed as stated on the Cancellation Fee Schedule. Cabin category downgrade / changes may result in fees being assessed.

No refunds will be made in the event of interruption or cancellation by any passenger after commencement of the cruise. Requests for refunds must be in writing to HAL. Refund processing time is about 3-4 weeks. HAL's Payment and Cancellation Policy is subject to change without notice.

Reservations that are not paid in full by the final payment due date will automatically be cancelled and the deposit paid will be forfeited.

No refunds will be given on any cruise for no-shows

Name changes and departure date changes are considered reservation cancellations and are subject to the cancellation fees.

Additionally, spelling corrections in names may be considered cancellations.

Cancellation fees will begin immediately once Full Deposit received within given time limit.

Once payment is applied, the reservation is subject to cancellation fees according to the below schedule:

  • 75-57 days before commencing travel: an amount equal to deposit requirement + admin fee of USD $50.00 per person.
  • 56-29 days before commencing travel: 50% of gross fare + admin fee of USD $50.00 per person.
  • 28-16 days before commencing travel: 75% of gross fare + admin fee of USD $50.00 per person.

15 days or less before commencing travel: 100% of gross fare
